The Coach

Garrett Layell. Player. Coach.

Every program runs through the PAR loop — Prepare, Apply, Respond — guided by Garrett so nothing falls through the cracks. The method draws on a network of specialists, but your coaching relationship is directly with Garrett.

Garrett Layell

Garrett is the low-handicap player and coach behind ParMethod — a competitive golfer from his junior days through college, with mini-tour starts on his résumé and a tee time on the next event already booked.

He brings the player's lens to coaching: how a swing actually holds up under pressure, how to manage your card when the round isn't cooperating, and how the daily grind of trying to get better feels from inside the ropes.

  • Low single-digit handicap
  • High school & college competitor
  • Mini-tour experience
  • Still actively competing
The Method

Built on three pillars. Delivered by one coach.

The ParMethod covers mental, technical, and physical development. Garrett coordinates the full program, drawing on a trusted network of specialists when a player needs deeper expertise in instruction or fitness.
